@viggo4, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'd be happy to help you get your HP LaserJet printer up and running. Since your message was brief, let’s go through a few basic steps to troubleshoot the issue:

Step 1: Check Power Connection

  • Ensure the power cable is firmly connected to both the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Try a different power outlet to rule out socket issues.
  • If the printer is connected to a power strip or surge protector, try plugging it directly into the wall.

Step 2: Reset the Printer

  • Unplug the printer from the power source.
  • Wait for 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and press the Power button (if available).

Step 3: Check for Signs of Life

  • Do you see any lights, sounds, or display activity when you try to power it on?
    • If no response at all, the issue may be with the power supply or internal hardware.
    • If the printer powers on but doesn’t proceed to the home screen, it may be stuck in an error state.
