iF WARRENTY IS EXPIRED, WILL PRINTER STOP PRINTING?

@CLARK81,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

HP Support Assistant will continue to work for a while after your warranty is expired.  However, at some point in time, you will stop getting updates. As long as nothing breaks in your printer, and you are able to continue to find a source to buy printer supplies, your printer should continue to function.

Kind Regards,

The printer says it will stop printing soon because of a  problem with my HP account..  Could it be with my expired HP warrenty??

@Repairatrooper,

This is not my area of expertise, perhaps you can advise @CLARK81...

Warranty status has NO bearing on operation of a printer. However if you are registered for Instant Ink and a payment issue has arisen, your printer would cease to function until you resolve the payment issue. You should check your account to ensure that your payment method is valid. I know I had a credit card stolen a few years ago and honestly it is hard to remember to change all your scheduled payments after an issue like that.
