Hi everyone,

I’m trying to install my printer HP desk jet 2320, but the system can’t find the appropriate drivers, and the installation fails. I’ve also tried using universal printer drivers, the printer seems to be installed but when I try to print out something doesn't work. Has anyone encountered the same issue?

Is there a way to work around this. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi @rudzielec708

Please try to install with the next steps:

(1) Connect a USB cable between Deskjet printer and Mac computer:

@rudzielec708, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Encountering issues with installing the printer driver can be frustrating, but there are several approaches you can take to overcome this problem:

Use the HP Support Website:

  • Go to the HP Support website and select "Support & Drivers."
  • Select the “Download drivers and software” option.
  • Enter your printer model number (HP DeskJet 2320) and select your operating system.
  • Download and install the specific drivers provided for your printer model.

Use HP App:

Ensure USB or Wireless Connection is Secure:

  • Make sure if you are setting it up via USB, the cable is securely connected to both the printer and your computer.
  • If using wireless, confirm that your printer and computer are on the same network.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Ensure your Windows operating system is up to date as sometimes the updates may include essential drivers for HP printers.

Reset the Printing System:

  • On Windows, you can reset the printing system by deleting the printer's entry in 'Devices and Printers' then adding the printer again.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hi,

I see the answer which I got seems to be automatic reply.

If you go to the HP Support Website you can't find iOS, even the old versions are not there. Second options... HP App - works only for wireless printers. HP DeskJet 2320 is connected through USB cable.

Sorry, but your respond is useless.
