Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

dear Community,

since I Moved to my new MacOS, it is impossible to print with the printer above.

Online on hpwebsite, the software is supposed to be compatible, but it doesn't work: I launch the print, the Mac sends to the printer, the printer is ready but the printer doesn't print and doesn't communicate any error status. 

Could anyone help me? Apple support told me to contact Hp

Try this:   HP Printer Drivers v5.1 for macOS (apple.com)

 

I couldn't get myHP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw to work for any kind of PDF file, images and many other file types. I finally stumbled on this and it worked. Now I can print everything. If I recall I had to choose the "MFP M476" driver since there wasn't one for "MFP M479" but it worked. I have Big Sur 11.4 but I'm leery about going to 11.5.2 since I don't want to break things. Let me know if this works for you.

Thank you! With this solution I am able to print. The scanner didn't work.
