my printer is added to the app but cannot finish entrollment for the monthly ink. I have spend too much time now trying to figure this out. Is it because I already set up my printer on my laptop? my power button is blinking but the wifi is on

@gmunoz123, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Check the Printer’s Wi-Fi Connection:
Since the Wi-Fi light is on, the printer is likely connected to the network, but it’s worth checking.
Ensure that your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network (the same one your phone or laptop is on).
You can do this by printing a Network Configuration Page. To do this:
Press and hold the Cancel button and the Wi-Fi button on the printer for 3-5 seconds. The printer should print a network configuration page showing the connection status.
Restart the Printer and Router:
Sometimes simply restarting the printer and your router can fix connectivity issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it for about 10 seconds, and then power it back on.
Restart your Wi-Fi router as well to ensure a stable connection.
Re-Add the Printer to the HP Smart App:
Remove the printer from the app and then add it back again.
Open the HP Smart app, select your printer, and tap on the settings or options to remove it.
After removal, try adding the printer again following the prompts.
Ensure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your printer when trying to enroll it.
Enrollment for HP Instant Ink:
For the monthly ink service, once your printer is properly connected and visible in the app, you should see an option to enroll in HP Instant Ink in the app.
If it’s still not working, check if there’s an error message in the app that could help guide you on what’s missing.
Try Using a Computer:
If the app on your phone isn't working, you can try completing the Instant Ink enrollment via the HP Smart website on your laptop instead. Sometimes, the website has more options to troubleshoot or finalize the enrollment.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
