hp 4650 e all-in-one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought an HP 4650 all-in-one printer for our association with
enclosed installation CD.
Everything perfect. Prints (still!) Perfectly etc.
Meanwhile bought another laptop with intel i-core 5 version 10 and transferred my files etc from old laptop (intel I-core 3 version 3) to new one. Both laptops run on win 10 Home
However, now I was instructed to install HP smart and the installation CD is no longer accepted.
OK no problem I guess. But now I always have to manually turn the sheet over with double-sided printing and tell the popup that I did that.
But the 4650 can do that itself !! why is this so now.
Please help with this (unnecessary) problem.

I tried all suggestions mentioned from HP virtual assistent, but no solution sofar

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.  Assume that the printer is HP OfficeJet 4650?

Can you download and install the FULL featured printer software from HP for your operating system:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-officejet-4650-all-in-one-printer-seri...

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

The 2 sided scan would have the popup that you're familiar with.

Hope that helps.

I am an HP Employee. Although I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
