I have tried to install the software CD on a new HP Pavilion laptop but it will not load. I have limited printing ability but cannot scan or use the printer tools etc.
any helpwould be appreciated

Can you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:
The following resource will help you :
http://123.hp.com/us/en/
Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

Hi. Thank you for your prompt response to my enquiry. Unfortunately when I followed the link to download the driver my printer was not listed and I was unable to locate it. I have since been able to locate the appropriate driver and have now downloaded the software and the printer is now working.
Many thnaks for your help and maybe it was user error that was unable to follow your instructions.
