Driver support update keeps asking me to "click." I'm 84 and have been roped into costs I don't need and can't afford. Advice welcomed. Thanks.

Hi

So are the questions...

My printer is working fine, do I need to continually update the driver?

If so is there a HP site to visit?

Should I run a scanner for Malicious software?

My printer is working fine, do I need to continually update the driver?   NO.

If so is there a HP site to visit? YES, https://support.hp.com/us-en

Should I run a scanner for Malicious software? YES.

 

I use  MalwareBytesBitDefender , and a rather obscure  Root Kit Killer.

 

All the above is a Lo-Cost/No-Cost Option, no payment at all, just a bit of time and electricity.

 

If you can give the full model name/number maybe I/We can link to the HP page appropriate to your device(s).
