Driver support update keeps asking me to "click." I'm 84 and have been roped into costs I don't need and can't afford. Advice welcomed. Thanks.

Should I run a scanner for Malicious software? YES.
I use MalwareBytes , BitDefender , and a rather obscure Root Kit Killer.
All the above is a Lo-Cost/No-Cost Option, no payment at all, just a bit of time and electricity.
