Hi @RichSuszek,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

The HP ENVY 6555e printer is compatible with both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks. It also supports Windows 11 for seamless integration with your computer.

Network Compatibility:

  • The HP ENVY 6555e printer supports 802.11 b/g/n wireless networks on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, allowing it to connect to modern routers that utilize 5.0 internet.

Operating System Compatibility:

To set up your HP ENVY 6555e printer on a 5.0 internet connection and Windows 11:

Install the HP Smart App:

  • Download and install the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store for Windows.
  • Follow the instructions within the app to connect your printer to the Wi-Fi network (ensure you select your 5GHz network).

Connect to Wi-Fi:

  • During setup, ensure that Wi-Fi is enabled on your computer, and connect it to the same network you intend to connect your printer to.
  • Turn on Bluetooth to allow HP Smart app to detect the printer efficiently.

Printer Setup via HP Smart:

  • Open the HP Smart app and follow the guided setup process.
  • If the printer was previously connected to another network, reset its network settings to ensure smooth connection to the new 5GHz network.

I hope this helps.
