I am locked out of my printer. I can't connect to wireless without entering my user name and password into the printer control panel. It will not accept my information.  Is there a hard reset anywhere? Other than going through the control panel?

Hey @frustrated2721, Welcome to HP Support Community. 👋

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Yes, you can perform a full factory reset on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e to remove any admin lock and restore default settings. Since you cannot access the control panel settings, follow these steps:

Method 1: Semi-Full Reset (Hard Reset)

This reset method erases all custom settings, including the admin password and network configurations.

  1. Turn off the printer by pressing the power button.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and wait for about 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord while holding the Wi-Fi and Cancel (X) buttons.
  4. Continue holding the buttons for about 10-15 seconds until the printer turns on and resets.
  5. Release the buttons and allow the printer to restart.

Method 2: Support Menu Reset

If the first method doesn't work, try this:

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Press and hold the Back button (⟲) and the Home button (🏠) together.
  3. While holding the buttons, turn on the printer.
  4. Keep holding the buttons until you see the Support Menu appear.
  5. Navigate to Reset Menu > Semi-Full Reset and confirm.

Method 3: NVRAM Reset (Factory Reset)

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Press and hold "Back" (⟲) four times in a row.
  3. A Reset Menu should appear.
  4. Select Administrator Reset or Full Reset.
  5. Follow on-screen prompts to complete the process.

After Reset:

  • You’ll need to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
  • Set up the printer again using the HP Smart app.
  • If enrolled in HP Instant Ink, sign back in to reactivate your subscription.

I hope this helps. 🚀

Take care and have a good day. 😇
