issues with big sur

Hi, I saw in the community a very useful comment about how to install your old hp pinter/scanner on new mac with big sur (with a list of compatibility), unfortunately the link provided is not valid anymore,

can someone please help me, I really need to install again my hp on my new Mac and it's been a couple of days since I'm trying everything to make it work,

I understand you are looking for a printer driver to work on Mac. However, due to its age, there are no drivers available for this printer to work on macOS 11

This printer is not AirPrint compatible too.

However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.

NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.

This is not a solution since my printer in not on that list.

If you know other solution please let me know.

I'm considering buy another printer/scanner but never ever hp again in my life at this point.

I don't want to change a device if it still works properly, this is such a waste.

Unfortunately, there is no other option. If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
