Hi,

I'm trying to print some images, but when I click print, the printer doesn't work, it takes the page, it does like 2 cm of color (the image) and nothing else! no error message!

I did all the thing that says to do on the HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.1, but it doesn't work.

I just bought it 2 months ago so it's NEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 20180516_174320.jpg

Thank you for responding,

It's great to have you back 😉

Which application are you using to print photos?

Have you tried printing from a different application?

How is the photocopy quality?

Let's try printing from a different application.

Root level uninstall and reinstall printer drivers

  • Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP Envy printer entries and uninstall them.
  • Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
  • Then press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" and press enter.
  • Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
  • Again, go to run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.

To reinstall, click herehttps://hp.care/2LbpzuP.

Also, update the firmware following steps from the link: https://hp.care/2CLF9Zo.

Let me know how this goes,

Have a great day 🙂

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

Flower_Bud is at your service.

As I understand, you're having issues with print quality,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

How is the photocopy quality?

Have you completed printer alignment?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps to resolve the issue. Click the link: https://hp.care/2k5cVkL.

Step 1: Use genuine HP ink cartridges

Step 3: Make sure you are using the appropriate paper for your print job

Step 4: Check the print settings

Step 7: Print a Print Quality Diagnostic report

Step 9: Clean the ink cartridges

Step 11: Align the printer

Step 13: Replace the problem ink cartridge

Keep me posted,

For I shall follow-up on this case to ensure the concern has been addressed,

And your device is up and running again,

Have a great day 🙂

Good Luck!

I did all that you said and the support said to do.. but it still doesn't work.
I have to print some images, but when I click the bottom print, the HP print starts, it takes the paper, it starts to print, but after 2 cm of color it stops.
this is the result of the print:

2 Cm of color and no more... I need all the image and not 2 cm of it.

and it doesn't show any error message.

If I print the alignment it works, if I have to print some documents it works, but with the images, it doesn't do more than 2 Cm of color...
