Hi @StevenBuckland,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you are experiencing difficulty logging into the HP Smart app even though you can log in on your laptop, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue.

  • Double-check your credentials: Make sure you are entering the correct username and password. Check for typos and ensure that the Caps Lock key is not accidentally turned on.
  • Password reset: If you're certain your credentials are correct, try resetting your password. There should be an option on the app's login screen or on the HP website to reset your password.
  • Update the HP Smart app: Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed. Outdated versions may have bugs or compatibility issues that could be resolved by updating to the latest version.
  • Clear app cache: Clearing the cache of the HP Smart app might resolve any temporary issues. Go to your device's settings, find the list of installed apps, locate the HP Smart app, and clear its cache.
  • Reinstall the app: Uninstall the HP Smart app and then reinstall it from the app store. This can sometimes resolve issues related to corrupted app files.
  • Check for app updates: Ensure that your device's operating system is up to date, and check for any updates for the HP Smart app in the app store.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
