Product: hp deskjet 3820

Kindly help with the installation package or guidlines for installation of hp deskjet 3820 printer on a windows 10 64 bit laptop. Thank you.

The package on the CD is not compatible with windows 10

Hi @Bukenya7 

 

1. First, try with the next general driver for hp printers:

 

2.  Connect the USB cable and turn ON printer.

 

3. Then try to add the printer from the Windows 10 Printer panel:

 

  • Open Configuration > Printers
  • Click Add printer or scannner
  • Then click over "the printer that I want isn´t listed"
  • and then click "My printer is a little older. Help me find it."
  • And then select the Manufacturer - HP  and Printers - look for Deskjet 3820 or something similar to Deskjet PCL-3

 

 

 

 

  • look for Deskjet 3820 or something similar to Deskjet PCL-3

  • Click Next button until complete driver installation.😊

 

 

* Click on YES button   to say thanks, 

* Click on the button Accepted Solution if the question is answered.
