Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was given a laser printer without the toner cartridge. I am unable to setup the printer.

Is it necessary to have the toner installed for the setup?

You can install a laser printer without a toner cartridge.

Thanks for the info.

However I am having difficulty in the installation. 

downloaded the driver package from HP. My printer is the laser pro. mfp m127fn. 

I connected with the printer cable as required to my computer and the product was detected. After some time I received an error message stating that the operation took too long to execute. Tried several times with the same outcome.

 

Any suggestions?
