I have an old m277dw that will not wake up from sleep mode. After the timeout (whatever is set in the energy settings) it goes to sleep and to get it to do anything we have to turn if off and back on - which is really annoying.

It's currently running firmware 20220414, which I believe is the latest

I've tried multiple sleep settings within the Energy Settings menu with no luck

I've tried connecting via wi-fi, ethernet cable and USB cable - all result in the same problem

I've reset the printer to factory settings (including by holding down the lower-right corner during boot up) and every other reset-something setting i could find - I also went into the secondary settings menu and reset some things - nothing has worked

At one point I tried setting a server to ping it repeatedly hoping that would keep it alive, but that didn't work either.

I was unable to locate firmware to downgrade it. I've read other posts with this problem that mention certain firmware versions but those seem to be unavailable.

I still have quite a bit of HP toner for this printer, so I really don't want to have to replace it

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
