Hello I'm using normal printing options as used before, but now suddenly my printer is missing random letters from Acrobat Reader files that I'm printing. It used to work perfect before.

Welcome to HP Forums. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

I understand that the Printer is missing some letters when you are printing from Acrobat Reader.

I'll try my best to help

I suggest you update the Acrobat Reader and ensure you have the latest version.

You can download the latest Acrobat Reader from the App Store: https://hp.care/2IEBinS

Also ensure that your iOS device is up to date

  1. From your mobile device, touch the Settings app, and then touch General.

  2. Touch Software Update.

Your device automatically searches for the latest iOS update.

  3. If an update is available, touch Download and Install, and then follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.

  4. You can refer to this Link: https://hp.care/2IzEP6Z

Also perform a Printer Reset

(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.
(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed

If the issue persists, Please download the HP Smart App from the App Store: https://hp.care/2K1KzUd

You can refer to this Link: https://hp.care/2xY0QmY for more information on HP Smart App

Try printing and let me know how it goes

Thank you. 🙂
