HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer

My new printer came without the setup cartridges.  How can I bypass or get setup cartridges?  I cannot return the printer due to store closing.

Hi @NB1414,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for reaching out, and I’m sorry to hear your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e arrived without the setup cartridges — I understand how frustrating that can be, especially if returning the printer isn’t an option.

It is possible to bypass the setup mode, but only if you have a full set of standard, genuine HP ink cartridges (not third-party or refilled ones).

🔹 The printer must detect authentic HP ink for the bypass process to work.
🔹 Compatible cartridges for your printer:

Once you insert all four standard genuine HP 962 cartridges, the printer may allow you to exit setup mode and proceed with normal use.

Let me know if you have so I can help you further.

Take care and have a good day.
