Hi @angelucha52

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand that you uninstalled your HP LaserJet Pro MFP 1536dnf Multifunction Printer because it was not working, and now you need to reinstall the printer on your Mac running macOS Ventura.

Please note that the HP LaserJet Pro MFP 1536dnf is an older printer model, and HP does not provide a dedicated macOS Ventura driver specifically for this printer. However, many users can still install and use the printer through Apple's built-in print system.

Try the following:

  1. Disconnect the printer from the Mac.
  2. Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
  3. If the printer is listed, select it and click Remove Printer.
  4. Restart the Mac.
  5. Connect the printer again using USB or ensure it is connected to the same network.
  6. Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners > Add Printer.
  7. Select the HP LaserJet Pro MFP 1536dnf.
  8. In the "Use" or "Driver" field, choose:
    • AirPrint (if available), or
    • Secure AirPrint, or
    • HP LaserJet Pro M1530 MFP Series if listed.
  9. Complete the installation and test printing.

If the printer is still not detected after installation, please let us know whether you are connecting through USB or a network connection, and we can provide additional troubleshooting steps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
