MFP M277 no longer has any function outside beside basic printing and scanning after upgrading to Win 11pro.

It will not automatically print double sided print. It only offers manual double sided.

I have run the analysis software and let it upgrade.

Hi @rmw388,

 

try this:

 

A) Printer settings Duplexer:
Search Windows for 'devices', and then click the Devices and Printers control panel setting in the results.

Right-click the icon for your printer model, and then
click Device Settings tab
Installable Options > Duplexer: installed

If not, change to installed.

 

B) Automatic Two-Sided Duplex Accessory:

Enter the Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
Right click the printer icon, then click Printer Properties.
Click the Device Settings tab.
Set the Automatic Two-Sided Duplex Accessory as installed and click OK to save the change.

Now Automatic Duplexing should become available.

 

If the Options > Duplexer or Duplex Accessory is not displayed, then download only HP Color LaserJet Pro M277 Printer series Full Software and PCL 6 Driver 

 

  1. Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list. 
  2. Restart the PC
  3. Close all programs
  4. Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the EXE
  5. The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
  6. Restart the PC again
  7. Now the installation is complete.

Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.

Thank you for the prompt and informative reply. Unfortunately I have win 11 pro. The printer properties shows a duplexer is present but it often doesn't offer that when trying to print. When it does offer "two sided printing'  it says manual.
