Hi, my PC says my printer is in a error state.  When i go to print - it says error printing from HP photosmart.  I cant print a test page and i've tried the HP smart troubleshooting fix but it doesn't identify a problem.  Im at my wits end!   documents can print fine to the printer from my phone or ipad, just my PC is now having issues.  any advice would be amazing.

Hi,

Try following below specific version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

 

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

 

Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy (Copy1) and check for any difference.

hi, unfortunately this isn't working. i ran the doctor,  it wont print the test page, but will print the internal page test.  then it takes me to some suggested links which don't work.  Thanks for offering to help though.
