HP ENVY Inspire 7255e All-in-One Printer

I set up a brand new 7255E with a Mac using new windows Sequoia 15.3.1 and in the print dialog box there is no toggle switch for color to black and white. There are no settings in the HP app I downloaded and registered with either. I called tech support, waiting for call back. anyone else get through the setup and can print but no option to choose color?

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

 

Restart the Printer

  • Turn off the printer. Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds. Plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page. Enter your printer model number and search for the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions to download and install the firmware update.

Reinstall HP Smart

  • Uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart app and check if the colour print option is available.
