- my driver is not working properly

"when i will try to connect mobile to pc it is not connecting" , so i did troubleshooting then it told me that the driver is not working properly ,so i thought of upgrading the driver software,but it is telling that "it can not install the driver because of some problem ".but pendriver and all other external device are working.so what should i do to solve the problem . please reply fast

I am amazed by your super quick response. Please follow these steps
- First, install the Micromax PC suite on your computer.
- Link for Micromax PC suite: http://micromaxcanvas.co.in/download-mmx-pc-suite-windows/
- Then enable USB debugging by following the steps in this link: http://www.phonearena.com/news/How-to-enable-USB-debugging-on-Android_id53909
- Then enable MTP on the phone by following these steps.
- Please goto settings > storage > click the three dot menu > you will see USB computer connection --> here checkbox the MTP mode again.
- This link is also useful for enabling MTP on the computer and connecting your android device.
- Please do not click on any ad, image, link or download as some of these links are third party websites.
- Check this Youtube video also: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rs3yeXLPlII
- Now you should be able to connect your android phone to your computer.

First off, for better clarity and to assist you better, I would require more information regarding this.
- Please let me know the complete phone model.
- Is it an android phone or an iPhone?
For now, try these simple steps.
- Remove the device from the device manager listing.
- Then connect the phone to a different USB port.
- Try with a different USB cable.

Hi Gopal,
Since all other external drives (pen drive and the like) are working, it is apprently not the problem with your computer.. Now, to isolate the issue, you may try to connect your phone to another computer and check .

I solved the problem by different way, that is first
Connected phone to laptop,
then when to device Manger
then properties of unknown device(phone)
then driver update,
then "browse my computer driver software"
then "pick from list of device on pc"
then "Android device"
then "map USB device"
then it is done.
