Hi @GMFR152001,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP 515 printer is experiencing a problem indicated by the two orange lights. This typically signifies an error or hardware issue. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help troubleshoot:

Check the Power Supply:

  • Ensure the printer is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet.
  • Confirm the power cable is securely connected to both the printer and the wall socket.

Inspect for Paper Jams:

  • Open all accessible panels and trays, and look for any paper jams or foreign objects. Even a small piece of paper can cause issues.

Check the Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the ink cartridge access area and make sure the cartridges are properly seated. Remove and reinsert them to ensure they are correctly installed.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the electrical outlet.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug the printer back in and turn it on. Sometimes, a hard reset can clear minor errors.

Examine the Printer for Hardware Issues:

  • Look for any visible signs of damage or loose components inside the printer.

Consult the Printer Manual:

  • Refer to the printer’s manual for specific troubleshooting steps related to the two orange lights. The manual might provide more details about what the lights signify.

Firmware or Driver Issues:

  • If you can access your printer’s software or control panel, check if there are any firmware updates or error messages that could give more insight.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
