@jr44, Welcome to the HP Support Community – it’s great to have you here!

I appreciate you taking the time to share your question. I'm more than happy to assist with this and provide a solution that works for you.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble printing wirelessly and that the virtual assistant wasn't helpful. I’d be happy to guide you through some steps to get your HP printer back online and printing again.

Restart Everything

  • Power off your printer, computer, and Wi-Fi router.
  • Wait 30 seconds, then power them back on in this order: router → printer → computer.

Check Printer Connection

  • Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Settings > Wireless Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the prompts to reconnect.

Reinstall the Printer

  • On your computer, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Remove your printer, then click Add a printer or scanner to reinstall it.

Update Printer Firmware

Enter your printer model and download the latest firmware if available.

I hope your issue is now resolved. If not, feel free to reply and we’ll continue helping until everything’s sorted!
