Product: office jet pro 8710
Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

couldn't find the correct board to address my challenge  so I chose the above, if it is wrong then please tell me where to post this  problem. .<My  printer started to suddenly make noises and  act as though something was getting ready to print or when the printer acts like its cleaning the heads. Can anyone help me with this challenge?

To be able to assist you better, I'd like to know the following-

  • Are you able to make photocopies on the printer?
  • How is the printer connected to the computer?
  • Did you make any changes to the printer or the computer recently
  • Is there any error message when you try to print?
