Hi @che12345

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

If you are having trouble accessing the control panel on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010e series printer and resetting the username and password, here are steps you can follow to try to resolve the issue:

Power Cycle the Printer: Turn off the printer, wait a few moments and turn it back on again. Sometimes a simple restart can resolve temporary issues.

Factory Reset:

  • Admin Access: Ensure that you have administrative access to the printer's control panel, you might need to log in as an administrator.
  • If the restore option is grayed out, it might be because of access permissions. If administrative control isn't available, sometimes a reset at the beginning of power-up might be needed.

Reset Network Settings:

  • Usually, you can reset the network settings by accessing the menu: "Setup" > "Network Setup" > "Restore Network Settings".
  • If this menu option is grayed out, consider performing a factory reset on the printer which typically restores all settings, including network configurations to default.

Reconnect to Wi-Fi:

  • After resetting, follow instructions to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
  • You might need to check whether your router requires any specific setup such as entering a password or other security settings.

If these options do not work, consider reaching out to HP Customer Support over the phone for further assistance or software tools that can help reset the printer settings.
