We just purchased a new desktop, and we have a Laserjet 3390. I've tried firmware and driver updates through both windows and HP. I've tried connecting via 2 different cables, and wifi. I've downloaded hp smart software. I've also done Hard, and soft, resets on both devices.
The printer is showing up in the devices list, but refuses to print.
Any help would be great. Thanks

Remove any previous drivers using printui
Run the following app from the command line
printui /s |
then remove the driver
The windows 7,8,10,11 universal drivers for PCL6 and Postscript can be found here

I suspect the scanner will not work. There is a 3rd party that has a scanner solution but you will have to buy the license
