Product: samsung express m2875dw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

each brand new ...loaded properly with samsung CD from the box.

 

i have 3 sets of NEW printers and NEW dell laptops ... and all have the same issue... so not a fluke

 

the cd loads and the printer shows up and i can print like normal

 

however the (easy document creator) can not interact with the scanner.

unfortunately i cannot make the Easy document creator work ...

 

i contend it is microsoft has changed something or one of my OEM legacy programs mixed with win 10 pro is interupting the loading process of the EDC.

 

i will give in to microsoft and just control the scanner by using this program .... it works well enough.

Hi,

Please uninstall the software and then reinstall the latest software from the web and check, it is possible the CD was made much prior to Windows 10 and is not up to date.

 

Any software should be removed from the Control Panel > Uninstall a Program first, then reinstall the latest drivers below:

 

Printer driver:

Scan driver:

yes ... did that same step yesterday... I tried again today ... nothing...

 

uninstalled all in control panel

 

i removed all remnants of drivers ... through devices-remove printer .... than device properties ... drivers ... remove.. so very clean

 

then download the two drivers and edc .. executed them ....

 

i can print like the wind .... but still no EDC  .. cant see the scanner...

 

i can use the scanner through windows system ...

 

i am NOT convinced the EDC package is loading properly...

When i click on the icon that i pinned to the task bar it runs the EXE file ... as if i never loaded it before?
