Hi @clueless34 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the issue with the HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e not printing in landscape mode or properly handling double-sided printing may be due to settings in your print configuration or the way MS Publisher interacts with the new printer's drivers. Here's a step-by-step guide to resolve these problems:

Fix for Landscape Printing in MS Publisher

Check Document Orientation in Publisher:

  • Open your document in MS Publisher.
  • Go to Page Design > Page Setup and ensure the orientation is set to Landscape.

Verify Printer Settings:

  • Go to File > Print in Publisher.
  • Select your HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e printer.
  • Click Printer Properties or Preferences.
  • Under the Layout or Paper/Quality tab, ensure the orientation is set to Landscape.

Update Printer Driver:

  • Download and install the latest printer drivers for the HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e from the HP Support website.
  • Restart your computer and try printing again.

Fix for Double-Sided Printing Upside Down

Adjust Print Settings:

  • When printing, go to Printer Properties or Preferences.
  • Look for an option like Flip on Long Edge or Flip on Short Edge under the duplex printing settings.
  • Adjust this setting based on the orientation you need:
    • Flip on Long Edge: Recommended for most portrait and landscape documents.
    • Flip on Short Edge: May be required for booklets or specific layouts.

Update Default Printer Preferences:

  • Press Windows Key + S and search for Printers & Scanners.
  • Select your HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e and click Manage > Printing Preferences.
  • Set the duplex printing mode to the desired edge flip option and save as default.

Check MS Publisher Duplex Options:

  • In the print dialog of MS Publisher, confirm that the double-sided printing options match the printer's duplex settings.

Additional Suggestions

Test with Other Programs: Try printing a landscape and double-sided document from another program (e.g., Word or PDF reader). If the issue persists, it’s likely related to the printer's driver or settings.

Firmware Update: Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date by checking for updates via the HP Smart app or the printer’s control panel. Update the firmware on an HP printer

Reset Printer Settings: On the printer’s control panel, reset print settings to default and reconfigure as needed.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
