Printer is working fine with another windows 7 laptop, so its look like the printer is fine but have some issue with drivers and software in windows 10. when trying to download software from hp site, instead of 2645, the software coming for 2640, i even tried with that, but its showing the printer is not connected. Please provide your valuable suggestion to resolve the issue ASAP.

Hi @VYASM

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2645 All-in-One Printer belongs to HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2640 All-in-One Printer series.

So you have downloaded the correct drivers from the HP Support site.

  • Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network.
  • This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. So, the PC should be on the 2.4GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
  • On the printer, you may tap on the wireless icon to check which network is the printer connected to.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
