My printer will not spit out paper. It did when I hit the info button. But no other time. And that was from the color cartridge. Went out and got a new HP Black. No change even though the TECH kept saying, for 45 minutes, that was the problem. I hate having to connect to the internet because I only use USB.
I've done everything that TECH said and have the pain in my knees to prove it. I just want to kill this printer and pick a different vender!

Hi @Patty08,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
To troubleshoot your HP DeskJet 2855e All-in-One Printer not spitting out paper, follow these steps:
Check the Paper Tray & Paper Path
Ensure the paper is properly loaded in the tray. Adjust the paper guides and check for any paper jams or obstructions in the paper path.
Print a Test Page
Disconnect the printer from the computer and press and hold the Resume/Cancel button (triangle icon) to print a test page. This will help you verify if the printer itself can feed and print paper.
Check USB Connection
Since you prefer using USB, ensure that the cable is securely connected to both the printer and the computer. Try using a different USB port or cable to rule out connection issues.
Restart Printer
Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for 1-2 minutes, and plug it back in. Power it on and try printing again.
Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers
Ensure that the correct USB drivers and software are installed on your computer. You can download the latest driver from HP’s website and reinstall it to rule out software issues.
Check Ink Cartridge and Alignment
Even with a new black cartridge, check that it is properly installed and aligned. Run the alignment process through the HP Smart app or printer control panel, as a misalignment can prevent printing.
Let me know if the issue persists after these steps!
