Hi @Calacata,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are trying to perform a hard reset on the HP OfficeJet 9012e All-in-One Printer, follow these steps:

Turn Off the Printer:

  • Press the power button to turn off the printer. If the printer is unresponsive, you may need to unplug it from the power source.

Unplug the Printer:

  • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer and wait for at least 60 seconds.

Reconnect the Power:

  • Plug the power cord back into the printer.

Turn On the Printer:

  • Press the power button to turn the printer back on.

Perform a Factory Reset:

  • On the printer’s control panel, touch the Setup icon (usually looks like a gear or wrench).
  • Select Printer Maintenance or Tools.
  • Select Restore Factory Defaults or Reset Settings.
  • Confirm the reset when prompted.

Refer to this document: HP OfficeJet 9012e All-in-One Printer User manual

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
