Setting up New Office Jet 9010

Printer returns error code as above 

"printhead may not be present or faulty"

 

Have removed printehead and clear the the contacts on the printhead carrier are installed crooked and therefore not making contact with the contacts on the printhead assembly itself. Happy t o email photo if needed.

Ideas?

HP Recommended

no tried this around 8 ties and didnt work. Disappointed, am assuming the hardware is faulty and will need to return. Hugely frustrating!!
