Instructions say to press the ok button

None of the pictures in the manual show which button is the ok button

Can you inform which button is considered the ok nbutton on the 4100 printer

Welcome to the HP Community --

Took a guess that you might have a DeskJet printer -- if not, you are back to square one until you can figure out exactly what model you have so the product home can be opened and the user manual checked...

I am also guessing that the OK button won't display unless you are in a menu where "OK" is a valid choice in answer to a particular setting, question, or setup.  ??

Check results for "4100" with added "DeskJet":

Results for "hp deskjet 4100 printer" (26)

For the purpose of this answer...

Choose one printer to represent the process:

HP DeskJet 4132e All-in-One Printer

Open the printer's product home page

Open category Setup & User Guides

Open the user manual:

User Guide

Read Chapter 1 - generally starting on Page 1

Some actions might indeed provoke a need (and display) for an "OK" response.

?

Perhaps you can tell us why you need an "OK" response...

Thank you for replying to my question. You were correct, my printer is an 4100e.

I made the mistake  of looking at instructions for a different model printer which mentioned the OK button.

Thank you for providind a very detailed and helpful response.
