Once printer goes into sleep mode (screen black), can't wake it up unless I unplug the printer, plug back in and restart.
How do I fix this problem.

Hi @shelguitar
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It sounds like your HP Envy 6155e is getting stuck in sleep mode, requiring a full power cycle to wake up.
Here are a few potential fixes you can try:
Adjust Energy Settings via Embedded Web Server (EWS)
- Open a web browser and enter your printer’s IP address (found in Settings → Network).
- Navigate to Power Management and disable Deep Sleep Mode if available.
Update or Reinstall Firmware
- Visit HP’s support page and check for the latest firmware update for your printer.
- Install the update and restart the printer.
Perform a Hard Reset
- Turn off the printer and unplug it for 60 seconds.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
Since this issue persists even after restarting, updating the firmware and adjusting power settings should help. Let me know if you need further assistance! 🚀
