@ScoobieS, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

First, check your printer if it is powered on and the Wi-Fi light is solid. If it’s blinking, the printer might not be connected to your network. Restart your printer, router, and computer to refresh all connections.

Next, on your computer, press Win + R, type control printers, and hit Enter. Look for your printer in the list. Right-click it and select Set as Default Printer. If it says Offline, right-click and select Use Printer Online.

If your printer still isn’t working, it might help to reinstall the drivers. Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click the printer, and choose Remove device. Then, go to HP support website, download the latest HP Smart software, and follow the setup steps to add the printer again.

If the problem is with the Wi-Fi connection, you can reset it on the printer. Press and hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel buttons together for about three seconds. This resets the printer’s network settings. Then, use HP Smart on your computer to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi.

As a final option, you can restore the printer to its factory settings. This will reset all settings to their original defaults, which can sometimes resolve the issues.

I hope these steps help resolve the issue
