I am trying to help a teacher utilize his printer with his new, school issued, Samsung Pro 2 Chromebook.
The teacher needs to print to it using a USB connection but when he attempts to, (despite the printer showing up as an option,) he gets an error message saying to check with the device manufacturer for updates.
the device is an HP LaserJet P1102w 
cloud printing is not an option.

I checked the specifications of your printer and see that your printer doesn’t support cloud printing.
