Hi @c40s ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with no drivers for macOS Sequoia

It appears that HP does not provide specific drivers for macOS Sequoia (macOS 14). However, you can try a few options to get your HP LaserJet Pro P1102w printer working:

1. Use Apple's Built-in Printer Drivers (AirPrint)

  • AirPrint: Many HP printers, including the LaserJet Pro P1102w, are compatible with Apple's built-in AirPrint feature. This allows you to print without needing specific HP drivers. To set up AirPrint:
    1. Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Mac.
    2. Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
    3. Click the + button to add a new printer.
    4. Your printer should appear in the list. Select it and ensure AirPrint is chosen as the driver.

2. HP Easy Start Software  HP Easy Start Software and Driver Downloads

  • HP Easy Start: HP provides an app called HP Easy Start that can help you install the correct driver automatically. It may work with newer macOS versions.
    1. Download HP Easy Start for macOS.
    2. Follow the instructions to install your printer.

Refer to this document: HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Printer User manual
Software and Drivers for HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Printer Drivers available Mac OS 12

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

I've tried these things. Please update the drivers for Sequoia. Otherwise, how do you even connect the p1102W to air print? When I click the bluetooth button on the printer, my computer doesn't find it. Again, when will the drivers be updated for Sequoia? Or, is there a clear workaround? I've so far spent several hours— downloaded HP smart app, tried air pint and every setup possibility in System Preferences— and gotten nowhere.

Same problem, please update the drivers for sequoia.

It does work, AirPrint does not support duplex mode.

if I install the printer locally, it simply does not print.

The driver I used to used only support up to Mac OS 15.0, so it can be upgraded to 15.1

@HP please update this driver to support macOS Sequoia. HP smart print and the drivers do not work to find this printer over USB or network.

@HP please update the driver to support the latest MacOS Sequoia 15.2!

Even with this tool, it still doesn't support Sequoia.
