setting up the Envy 6155E printer the pairing code is on the control panel screen.  I went to the hpsmart.om/claim site as instructed and I don't see where to enter the pairing code

To activate your HP+ printer and enter the pairing code, follow these steps:

 

Go to HP Smart Setup Page: Open a Web browser on your computer and go to HP Smart Setup.

 

Sign In or Create an Account:

  • Sign In: If you have already created an HP account, sign in with your email address and password.
  • Create an Account: If you do not have an HP account, create one by entering your first and last name, email address, country/region, and creating a password.

 

Verify Your Account: A verification code will be sent to the email address you provided. Enter this verification code in the field that displays on the setup page and click Verify.

 

Select Account Type: Choose either a company-managed or personal account for the printer, and click Continue.

 

Enter Pairing Code: When prompted for the pairing code, enter the code that you retrieved from the control panel screen of your printer, and click Continue.

Complete Activation:

  • Assign a name and location to your printer, if desired, then click Continue.
  • Agree to the HP+ smart printer requirements and confirm.
  • Follow any further onscreen instructions to complete the setup, such as installing a print driver or enrolling in HP Instant Ink.
