  • Are you trying to reinstall the HP App (which replaced HP Smart), or just the printer driver/software?
  • Is your printer connected by USB cable or through Wi‑Fi?
  • Which operating system version are you running now—Windows 11, or something else?
  • When you say “pc crashed,” did you have to reinstall Windows, or did the system recover without a full reinstall?
  • Do you still see the printer listed in Devices and Printers or in the HP App, or is it completely missing?
