HP 8150 0rinter
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

w10 1903 originally installed via Insider Preview latest update applied. Plug and Play says HP 8150 setup complete, ready for use. Device manager shows Other devices/Unknown device and no printers, Settings does not show 8150. HP Smart app continuously tries to connect to printer on USB.

May you see any instance added for the printer as Unspecified?

 

May you see any instance listed within the Printers category within the Device Manager?

 

Try downloading the drivers from Microsoft and manually update the driver.

 

You may download the drivers below, use any tool such as Winrar or 7-ZIP to extract it:

http://download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/driver/drvs/2011/07/4753_fc148f3df197a4c5cf20bd6...

 

Please let me know if you can see any instance within Devices and Printers or the Device Manager and where, so I will guide you accordingly how to manually update the driver and check.

I FOUND THE SOLUTION:

 

In Device Manager, open up Universal Serial Bus Controllers

Find the 8100 Series device 

Click on Update Driver

Browse my computer for driver software

Let me pick from a list

Choose USB Composite Device
