Hi @Amajason,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the HP OfficeJet Pro 9020 All-in-One Printer does not have a dedicated physical "reset" button, but you can perform a reset using the printer's control panel.

To reset your HP OfficeJet Pro 9020 and clear settings such as Wi-Fi credentials or administrator passwords, follow these steps:

Power off the printer.

  • Turn the printer off using the power button and unplug it from the electrical outlet.

Perform a hard reset:

  • Unplug the power cable from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds to 1 minute to ensure any residual power is drained from the printer.

Power it back on:

  • Plug the printer back into the power source and turn it back on by pressing the power button.

Restore Network Settings: If you need to reset your Wi-Fi or network settings, you can do so from the control panel:

  • On the printer's display screen, tap the Wi-Fi icon (it looks like a signal).
  • Go to Settings and choose Restore Network Settings or Restore Defaults (this option can vary depending on your firmware version).

If you're locked out due to a forgotten password (like for the printer's admin settings), you can reset the printer’s settings to default by using the following:

  • Go to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Restore Defaults or Reset All Settings (depending on your model).
  • This will reset the printer's network settings and admin passwords.

Refer to this document: HP OfficeJet Pro 9020 All-in-One Printer series user manual

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
