I just unpacked my new printer and it displays Event Code 62.80.23 There is a problem with the printhead.

@Dabnet, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Let us try these steps to resolve this issue: 

 

Perform the steps mentioned in this document - Error Indicates Faulty Printhead

 

Make sure the packaging materials from inside the printer is removed. Check for any plastics/cardboards in the ink cartridge access area.

You may refer to the steps from Paper Jam Error
