In Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, when you click on Print, please check the Print headers and footers box in Show more options or More settings. The page numbers will be printed.

From which software have you added the page number?
The page number from Word can be placed either at the bottom or at the top.

@Mans is correct. I have never worked on a printer that would automatically print page numbers, it is a software feature.
