Hi @Tanzanite1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To find the print queue on your HP ENVY x360 15.6-inch 2-in-1 laptop and create a shortcut to it on your desktop, follow these steps.
Finding the Print Queue
Open the Control Panel:
- Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type control and press Enter to open the Control Panel.
Navigate to Devices and Printers:
- In the Control Panel, click on "Devices and Printers."
Open the Printer Queue:
- Locate your printer in the list of devices.
- Right-click on your printer and select "See what's printing." This will open the print queue window where you can view pending print jobs.
Creating a Shortcut to the Print Queue on Desktop
Create the Shortcut:
- Right-click on an empty space on your desktop.
- Select "New" and then click on "Shortcut."
Enter the Print Queue Path:
- In the shortcut creation window, type the following command:
rundll32.exe printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /p
- Click "Next."
Name the Shortcut:
- Give your shortcut a name (e.g., "Print Queue").
- Click "Finish."
Accessing the Print Queue Shortcut
- You can now double-click the shortcut on your desktop to open the print queue directly whenever needed.
This method provides a quick way to access your print queue without navigating through the Control Panel each time.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
