Hi @Ladyminx,

Thank you for your reply, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that the issue still persists after following the steps provided in the previous interaction.

It looks like you were interacting with @sandytechy20, but he is out of the office today so I'll take over from here.

This issue could occur if there is a duplicate copy of the same printer in the Devices and Printers folder in the Control Panel.

If there are no other printers connected to the computer on the network then you can delete the additional copies.

Removing Printer Copies:

1. Open the "Devices and Printers" window again.

2. Right-click the copy you want to delete and select "Remove Device."

3. Click "Yes" in the confirmation window.

Let me know if this works.

You have a good day ahead.

@Ladyminx

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you finding issues in using HP Print sand Scan doctor. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

  • Did you complete installing the PSDR software?
  • Is the printer connected to a network where there are other printers installed?

Meanwhile:

  • If at all you are in the process of installing the Print and Scan Doctor software,
  • It will detect all the printers available in the network, select your printer name in that page
  • And proceed installation.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers.
