Trying to install the printer on my laptop through the HP SMART app, and after enrolling in the instant ink services, it says this message: "Use SETUP cartridges" than another message: "To complete printer setup, you must install cartridge labeled SETUP that shipped in the box with the printer. Replace the currently installed cartridges with the SETUP cartridges now. For cartridge replacement instructions, click help.

After the printer setup is complete, the printer can use regular cartridges".

However, this is not a new printer, has been set up previously, and actually, the warranty expired the last year in September.

How can I get the SETUP without the "labeled SETUP cartridges" that are asking me?

I can not print any document until this issue is fixed. The printer is not OLD like to trash it, but also I tried to go to the link that HP Experts recommended in this HP community, but it doesn't help me, it says the access has been denied.

Could you help me to make this printer work properly?

@Claudini30, Welcome to HP Support Community!

The only option left is to perform an OOBE reset and re-initialize the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset, and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps!
