PRODUCT NAME: HP COLOR LASER JET CM2320 fxi MFP

ISSUE: I CANNOT INSTALL THE SOFTWARE. 

ERROR MESSAGE: HPQDDSVC SERVICE IS RUNNING AND NEED TO STOP TO CONTINUE THE INSTALLATION

ACTION: TRIED TO STOP AS PER GIVEN INSTRUCTIONS. STATUS OF SERVICE IS STOPPING HOWEVER STATUS IS NOT CHANGING TO STOPPED. AS A RESULT THE PRINTER SOFTWARE CANNOT BE INSTALLED.

Windows 11 driver page for this device does not list a full software install. Likely not compatible and based on age HP is not going to expend resources making it work as this device is past end of life. Printing is supported in Windows 11 with the Universal Printer Driver. You could try the HP universal scan software but again, not listed as supported.
