@Tyler9991, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

I understand you're experiencing an "offline" issue with your HP Deskjet 3050 printer on Windows 11, especially after the 24H2 update.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help resolve the issue, especially since it's connected via USB:

Restart Devices

  • Turn off your printer and disconnect the USB cable.
  • Restart your Windows 11 PC.
  • Turn the printer back on and reconnect the USB cable to a different USB port.

Remove and Reinstall the Printer

  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Click on your HP Deskjet 3050, then select Remove device.
  • After removal, disconnect the USB cable again.

Uninstall Old Drivers

  • Open Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
  • Uninstall any software related to HP Deskjet 3050.
  • Also uninstall the HP Smart app if installed. HP Smart

Download and Install Latest Drivers

  • Visit HP Support Page
  • Download the full feature software and drivers.
  • Install the software before reconnecting the USB cable.
  • When prompted during installation, connect the USB cable.

Set Printer as Default

  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Click on your printer and select Set as default.

Disable “Use Printer Offline” Mode

  • Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on your printer > See what’s printing.
  • Click Printer in the menu bar and uncheck “Use Printer Offline”.
